owl1.jpg (3315 bytes)There are so many links pages that deal with Ren Fests that I could never hope to compete.  So, I do the next best thing: imitate *grins*.  Here are some of my favorite links.  Many of them are just links to other sites, but why do something that someone has already done?  Also, links to the Faires that I have been to, or are planning to go to are included.  I know some of the links are in error.  I will fix them soon.  Thanks.

The Performers
  • The Tudor Tarts  Bawdy wenches with attitude
  • The Corsairs   Piratical a capella group with a hold full of humor
  • Ded Bob and Smuj  A dead man and his dummy.  Umm...which is which? :)
  • Tullamore  Trio of Celtic Folk singers (just don't say "Mary-Mac" too loud *g*)
  • Throw Up  Comedy juggling duo with such a catchy name AND they finally got a REAL page up :)
  • Wyndnwyre   Fell in love with the group the first time I saw them a decade ago.  Wore the cassette tape out in record time (I still have the case though *g*)
  • Brobdingnagian Bards  A delightful duo with a humorous repertoire of tunes.  Check them out if you need to smile.
  • To The Hilt    Leonardo and Katja have a great dynamic with each other and the audience.
  • Bedlam Bards   A feisty trio of talented musicians with a healthy dose of mischief.
  • The Naughty Nymphs  With a name like that who needs a description?!?!
  • Washing Well Wenches    Oh, I wish I were an empty can of tuna fish...ahem...pardon me
  • Iris and Rose   "Wenches with balls" (and that is a quote)
Other Stuff
  • Museum Replicas   Okay.  It isn't Lundegard.  It isn't Starfire.  It isn't Angel Sword.  But it is affordable.  Call me cheap, but I still have to eat (and drink...of course).  I have three of their pieces so far and they get the job (of looking good *g*) done.
  • Wearing the Great Kilt    One of the easiest and most productive methods to take a few yards of tartan and wrap it into a kilt.
  • Pirate Items   Tuscany Trading Company has a nice selection to help a fledgling pirate get their sea legs (so to speak).
