Where to begin?  First of all, a pwca is a Welsh faerie that was both helpful and mischievous.  I am not a faerie, I am not Welsh (that I know of), and I am only occasionally helpful.  The name is one that was chosen by myself years ago as a chat alias and it stuck.  I do not have a faire name, alias, or persona.  Maybe someday I will come up with one, but for now I am content being Glenn.

I began going to TRF about 9 years ago, but wasn't too serious about it.  For a few years I would go once or twice a season, but that was all.  In the fall of '99 though I started going back with a vengeance.  Once TRF was over I had to find another faire and quick.  Excalibur (formerly Cavalier Days) near Austin was coming up and we made plans to attend.  It was at Excalibur that the idea of taking a visual record of the event really started to be realized.  Now I plan to attend any faire I can manage.  Who knows?  Maybe I will be taking pictures at Arizona next spring or Bristol next summer.

Since I am usually behind the camera there are few pictures of me.  However, after Brother Lingus went out and purchased a camera the number of pwca shots increased dramatically.  The "good" Brother does have a habit of getting me at my worst.  Since I include images of him in ... er ... mmmm ... compromising positions I will include some of the bad pics of me.  If you have ever wondered what the men's "pseudo-flushies" look like at Scarby you won't be wondering for long.  At least he did it from an angle that was less embarrassing than his "digital kilt check" from Excalibur :)
